I agree with the statement that people's salaries should be based on their job performance.
 
First, companies can make a lot of profits by providing higher salaries to those who perfom well at work. All the employees will be more motivated to work hard if they are given the same chance to get promoted and receive better salaries. Those well motivated workers surely play an important role in the company growth, which surely helps bring a large profit to the company.
 
Second, employees can learn new skills more efficiently. If capable workers are quickly promoted to higher positions such as managers, for example, they will learn to know how to manage other employees or how to allocate tasks or duties effectively. This helps improve job satisfaction among workers, and those who are allowed to have new responsibilities or experience are more likely to stay at the company they work for,
 
For these reasons, employee's salaries should be based on the performance they make.
