I agree that Japanese consumers will buy more imported products in the future.
First, thanks to globalization, more and more products from other countries will be available for Japanese people. In order to expand their business worldwide, many foreign companies are interested in selling their items in Japan. Therefore, Japanse customers have more opportunities to try out such imported products.
Second, the quality of imported products is becoming better and better. For example, the smartphone, called iphone, produced by Apple, has many functions, and can last for a long time to use. Moreover, such foreign products can be cheaper than those made in Japan, so many Japanese consumers prefer to use products imported from other countries.
For these reasons, I think Japanese consumers will purchase more imported products in the future.
