[ essay 1 ]

There are numerous problems afflicting the world today. No matter how hard it may be, we must try as best we can to tackle these issues to make the world a safer and better place for future generations to live in.

First, it is imperative that we make every effort to reduce reliance on natural resources. As fossil fuels are running out rapidly, we are expected to face energy shortages. In order to fill the void, we have to depend more on renewable energy sources. Solar power can be the best alternative, as it lasts forever and doesn't produce green house gases, which largely contributes to global warming.

Second, it is important to improve public health. In developed countries, many people fall ill, due to unbalanced diets, while those in the developing world suffer from food shortages and unsanitary conditions. Whichever the case, governments need to provide financial support and raise public awareness of the problem.

Lastly, we should encourage nuclear disarmament to make the world safer for the future. Nuclear weapons, which can destroy the whole world, should not be allowed for any reasons. In order to achieve the goal, the nations with nuclear weapons first have to show the initiative to promote the disarmament by reducing their owned weapons.

It may be hard to solve all the problems the world is facing in a short time, but as our ancestors have been doing, we are also responsible for making the world safer for future generations.

[ essay 2 ]

Nowadays, the world have been facing a large number of problems, such as destruction of the environment, depletion of natural resources, or infringement of human light. These problems are threatening us and our future generations. Therefore, it is necessary for us to solve these problems as soon as possible to make the world safer for us and our future generations.

First of all, we need to seek renewable energy which can be substituted for fossil fuel. It is often said that fossil fuel such as oil, natural gas, or coal will run out in a few decades. Without alternatives to them, our modern life wouldn't work properly. Renewable energy, however, will provide us with everlasting energy. We no longer have to worry about the depletion of natural resources.

Secondly, public health is another concern we have to deal with. Today, an increasing number of people are suffering from incurable diseases like AIDS. If we leave this problem slide, we will face a serious situation. Also, people living in less developed countries still suffer from food or water shortage. Therefore, more attention should be given to health problems in order to make the world safer.

Lastly, we also need to think much of human rights. Up to today, the problem of racial, gender, and religious discrimination has improved to some degree, but it still leaves much to be desired. We need to have mutual respect for each other regardless of races, gender, and religion.

Although the world has some problems which will threaten our future generations, these problems can be solved with our efforts. It is we that can make the world safer for future generation.
