[ essay 1 ]

Throughout history, many political systems have been adopted and gone. In the modern society, democracy is considered to be the best by most advanced countries, but no political system seems to be perfect for all.

First of all, democracy allows all citizens to vote for politicians who best represent their voices. This means that voters can indirectly take part in political decisions, which makes them feel responsible for active participation in elections. Moreover, political systems in democracy boost national solidarity and patriotism as a whole, since people are entitled to make important decisions in politics.

On the other hand, there are some negative aspects to democracy. A system based on majority rule is not always fair to all. Decisions are often made in favor of the majority of people who are not necessarily right on every occasion. In history, wars were often waged on the ground of decision by majority.

Considering all the alternatives like communism or socialism, there seems to be no other political system as good as democracy in today's society, but we need to keep in mind that it doesn't always work perfectly. In a nutshell, democracy is not suitable for all countries and cultures.

[ essay 2 ]

Democracy is predominantly valued in the developed world. The government based on democracy seems ideal in theory, but in reality, there are also drawbacks to this political system.

First of all, democracy allows all citizens to participate in the political process. Based on the idea, people can express their own opinions freely or elect politicians to represent their voices. Moreover, democracy is based on majority rule, and people don't have to accept decisions made by only a few individuals if they are not satisfied. In theory, a system based on democracy is fair to all citizens.

On the other hand, democracy doesn't always work as well in practice as it looks in theory. History can tell us that minority groups were often persecuted in the name of democracy. Even in modern days, voices from minorities are often ignored, and certain part of the population always benefits more from the system.

Furthermore, a democratic government is not always suitable for all countries and cultures. Throughout history, some countries have been divided into several tribes or religious groups, often fighting with each other and making conflicts within the same nation. Since they have different beliefs and opinions, it is difficult to reach a consensus on political decisions.

In conclusion, considering (the fact) that no other political system has proven as fair and effective as democracy, it may be the best political system so far in the world. However, we must bear in mind that democracy is not free from flaws. It will still take a long time for democracy to prevail in a real sense.

[ essay 3 ]

As the world has been modernized in many ways, an increasing number of countries are adopting a democracy. Although there are many benefits to being a democratic country, it is not always good for all countries. This essay will look at the pros and cons of democracy.

On the positive side, democracy gives us more opportunities to participate in many fields, such as political or economic. Since sovereignty is based on the citizens in a democratic country, they can vote to choose their politicians, and they also have the right to run for an election.

However, democracy is not suitable for all countries. Some countries are historically or culturally based on monarchies or autocracies, so democracy wouldn't work properly in these countries. People in these countries have relied on their governments for a long time, so they wouldn't know how to live if a democracy was given to them.

Last, theory and practice in democracy doesn't always go well together. Seemingly, democracy gives us many benefits and appears to make us equal, but economic disparity between the rich and poor in democratic countries has grown bigger and bigger.

In conclusion, there are both positive and negative sides to democracy. Although democracy brings many benefits for most countries, we should keep in mind that it is not always good for some countries.

[ essay 4 ]

In today's society, most developed countries are in favor of democracy, but a government based on a democratic policy is not always applicable to all the countries in the world.

First of all, majority rule doesn't necessarily bring up positive outcomes. The majority of people might be misled by a certain leader with a wrong cause, and overpower the minority. Throughout history, minority groups are often persecuted and oppressed, and wars are waged in favor of the majority.

Second, the theory based on democracy might sound ideal to most people, but it doesn't always work as well as they hope. In theory, a majority of people win the right of decision making, but the minority is often against the decision. As a result, it takes forever to finally make a compromise. Also, some politicians bribe voters to earn a majority approval on their policies.

On the other hand, there seems to be no better political system than democracy. Unlike socialism or communism, democracy provides citizens with the opportunity to choose politicians who represent their voices. In this way, all the people can participate in political decisions fair and square.

In conclusion, although democracy is never free from flaws, we haven't found any better system as yet. All things considered, I believe we should promote democracy as the best policy to the rest of the world.
