There has been a growing awareness to the importance of a slow life recently. Many people have started to realize there are a lot of advantages of living a slow life. Let me explain how it can benefit us.

First, living a slow life is good for the health. By relying mainly on agriculture, people can make a living by farming rather than working in the busy city. Such self-sufficient lifestyle allows people to eat a healthy diet, and helps them live a long and happy life.

Second, a slow life can help people escape from pressure. Many people today have a busy lifestyle and feel stress. In school, they are forced to study hard to get to the top university and after graduation, they have to work hard to climb the ladder, always competing with other people. Those living a slow life, on the other hand, are free from such pressure, which enables them to stay mentally healthy and find their lives satisfactory.

Finally, leading a slow life can have positive effects on the environment. Modern agricultural methods, which helps provide sufficient food to people living in the busy city, are often to blame for environmental destruction. By depending more on traditional ways of forming, however, people leading a slow life don't use harmful chemicals and fertilizers or cut down so many trees, which both help reduce pollution and greenhouse gasses.

For these reasons, many people today prefer to choose a slow life rather than to live a busy fast life. There appears to be more good than harm to leading a slow life, which allows people to have a happier life.
