A friend of my family I remember the most when I was a child is my neighbor next door. When I was five years old, my family moved into a newly-built apartment, where we met the neighbor for the first time. We were both new residents then, so we have known each other for a long time by now. Although I moved out of the apartment after I graduated from college, my parents have still lived there and kept in contact with them. Despite that, the neighbor rarely visited my family. We just said hi when we saw each other in the hall.

I remember this person very well, because of the cat we had. The cat was very curious about things outside the apartment. One day, when we kept the door open to the balcony, the cat ran out of the room, jumped onto the fence, and got into the neighbor's place. Actually, the neighbor doesn't like cats, so when she saw the cat, both the cat and neighbor panicked. We had to get into the neighbor's apartment and get the cat which hid herself in the back of the closet. Believe or not, that happened several times. Whenever it happened, we said sorry about the cat and then the neighbor let us find the cat which hid somewhere in the neighbor's apartment.
