I definitely agree that Asia will dominate the world stage in the 21 century.
Without doubt, most of the population in the world is concentrated in Asia. Probably it contains two thirds of the world's population. And many Asian countries are growing economically and being industrialized. China is a perfect example. It is expected that China will be the biggest economy within this century, overtaking the US, or other European countries. Speaking of which, most European countries have been in recession, and it seems things are going even worse. No prospect to recover for a long time. Considering this fact, Asia will be in the lead this century.
In technological advancement, Asia has an edge over other parts of the world. Needless to say, Information Technology such as computers, internet, or cell phones is the most advanced in Japan. South Korea is also trying to catch up with us. Also, IT industry in India is growing rapidly and the world enjoys their expertise in this field. Furthermore, Japanese cars are the most popular in the world, and every part of the world knows A Toyota is one of the best cars in the world.
And don't forget about the influence of Asian culture. Animation from Japan is huge in the world. Some people don't know where in Asia Japan is located, but they all know the story of "Dragon Ball" Moreover, video games from Japan or Korea are also very popular, and Asian musicians are active all over the world.
Therefore, I think that this century will be the Asian Century, and actually it IS our century already!!
