In this day of globalization, multicultural societies have a lot of advantages over mono-cultural, homegenous societies. So I believe the strengths outweigh the weaknesses.

 

First, many people in international societies know how to communicate with people from other countries, which gives them the competitive edge when it comes to finding a job. For example, in order to communicate with people from other countries, they learn to speak the internationally dominant language, English. Obviously, people who can speak English well have an advantage at work. In today's global economy, they can find better jobs with better salaries. They can get promoted quickly thanks to their ability to speak English. Also, companies with those people have more business dealings from other countries, which can bring them profits and eventually boost the economy in the society.

 

Moreover, people of multicultural societies have more understanding to other cultures, and there are less racial and religious discrimination in this society. This means that people living there respect others from different racial and religious backgrounds, and live happily without any conflicts. It also helps people work well in the global environment and makes the society more effective and productive.

 

In conclusion, some people may say that there are some weak points in multicultural societies; it can cause cultural conflicts or lead to loss of less dominant cultures or traditions. However, I believe that in today's world, the strength of international societies far outweigh the weaknesses.
