Needless to say, science has brought us a lot of benefits throughout history, and it's still promising for our future generations. So, I think the government should provide more funding for scientific research.

 

The biggest reason for this is that scientific research has potential to save millions of people around the world. Research on medicine or genetic engineering can help us find new ways to fight against diseases. Some infectious diseases like AID are not curable today, but with more scientific research, we can find the way to fight it off and potentially other illnesses as well. The only thing scientists need now is to get the go-ahead from the government and receive more funding, so that they can keep doing research on it.

 

Second, I believe research on outer space is also worth the price. Although many people say it is a waste of money, or the money should be better spent on dealing with other social issues, the knowledge gained from space exploration can help scientists better understand potential benefits from outer space, and possible risks upon the earth. This knowledge will be valuable for our future generations.

 

In conclusion, scientific research costs a lot , but it's always worth the price. As history can tell you, science has helped us a lot and made our lives much better and more comfortable. Therefore, I think the government should provide more funding for scientific research.
