[ speech 1 ]
One day, a young woman went to a real estate agent. The woman was sitting on the sofa facing the agent across the table. The agent showed her a house for sale in the booklet. She asked him about the location, and he said that it was a very quiet place.
One month later, she had moved in there, and her neighbor came over to see her and to welcome her to the neighborhood. She brought her some vegetables, and the woman was very pleased to see them.
A few weeks later, she saw a worker putting up a sign right across the street from her house. The sign said that a shopping mall was going to be built next spring. She looked concerned thinking that it would attract so many people and cars.
The following spring, the new shopping mall was completed, and many people started visiting the mall. Her neighbor told her that the mall was very close and convenient, but she didn't know what to say, because she moved all over there to get away from the busy city life.

[ speech 2 ]
One day, a young woman went to a real estate agent. The agent was showing her a house that was advertised in the book. She asked him what the place was like, and he answered to her question by saying it's very quiet. She decided to buy the house.
One month later, she was at the new house, and an elderly woman in the neighborhood visited her place with some vegetables she had grown. The elderly woman said "welcome to the neighborhood." The young woman appreciated her hospitality.
A few weeks later, however, the woman was shocked to know that a new shopping mall was coming near her place. She imagined a busy mall with a parking lot full of cars.
The following spring, the elderly neighbor ran into the young woman. She said how close and convenient the new shopping was for her. The young woman, however, was disappointed because she thought it was going to be crowded and noisy like in the city.
