One evening, a young businessman was working in his office. When he was sitting at the desk, typing on the computer, his father called him and asked him if he could come and help them on the farm that weekend. The man agreed to do so.

 

On the weekend, he was on the farm standing on the ladder and picking apples from the tree. His parents were standing right next to him and looked happy when they saw him helping them with the farm work.

 

That evening, the man was having dinner with his parents. His mother told him that they were getting too old to keep running the farm. While listening to her saying that, his father looked sad.

 

On his way home, the man was on the train thinking about what his mother had said. He wondered whether he should keep working at the office or take over the family business.
