One day, a man was at his company. He was going to retire from the company, so his co-workers got together at the office, gave him a bouquet of flowers, and then they were applauding him for his retirement. He looked happy, looking forward to a quiet life after he retired.

A month later, though, he was sitting on a sofa, watching TV, and he looked bored. He said to his wife that he missed working. His wife was worried about him.

That weekend, his wife was showing an advertisement for volunteer work at a kindergarten. According to the advertisement, they were looking for volunteers who read books for little children. He looked interested in doing the work.

A few months later, after the first day of volunteering, he came back home. He looked very tired, and said to his wife that the work was very difficult, because the children behaved badly and wouldn't listen to him.

One day, a man was at his company. A retirement ceremony [ a party ] was being held [ taking place ] for him [ his retirement ]. He was holding a bunch of flowers that his co-workers gave him, and they were clapping their hands to celebrate his retirement. He imagined himself sitting on the sofa and relaxing at home. He looked pleased to think about it.

A month later, however, he was sitting at home, watching golf on TV. He was tired of having nothing much to do. His wife was standing next to him and worried about him. She wondered what he could do to enjoy his retirement life.

That weekend, the man's wife showed him a flyer that said some volunteers were needed to read children books at a kindergarten. The man thought it would be a good opportunity to work and decided to try it.

A few months later, the man had just arrived home after volunteering at the kindergarten. He was exhausted, and told his wife that it was very hard because the children wouldn't listen to him while he was reading a book to them.

I think so. Most hospitals and clinics are efficiently run. Also, recent medical advances have made it possible to give patients better treatment at a lower cast.
