[ Speech 1 ]
One day, a woman was talking with her co-worker at the museum. She said, "we should get the community more interested in art. Her co-worker was sitting at the desk, listening to her. He nodded and agreed with her.
At a staff meeting, the woman suggested two possible ideas to attract the public to the museum. One was to create painting workshops for kids, and the other was to buy new artworks. She said the first idea was better, and everyone in the meeting agreed with her.
A few months later, painting workshops for kids started. The woman was happy to see many children enjoying painting picutres in the museum.
Later that day, the woman was standing at the exit of the museum, when an old couple came up to her and said " it was too noisy to enjoy the artwork."

[ Speech 2 ]
One day, a woman was talking with her co-worker at the museum. She said that the museum needed to do something that would get the community more interested in art.
At a staff meeting, the woman and her co-workers were discussing ways to do this. One idea was to hold painting workshops for kids, and another was to add new artworks to the collection. Everyone agreed that the first option was the better of the two ideas.
A few months later, the museum was holding a painting workshop for children in the exhibition hall. The children were painting pictures and having a good time.
Later that day, the woman was standing near one of the museum's exits. An elderly couple had come to complain to her about the painting workshop. They said that the kids were so noisy that they couldn't enjoy looking around the artworks.

[ Questions ]
No.1 Please look at the fourth picture. If you were the woman, I would be thinking?
I'd be thinking, "I should have thought more about the noise children might make during the workshop." Maybe we should create a separate room where children can enjoy paintings pictures, so that they wouldn't bother other visitors.
No.2 Do you think that public museums should be free of charge for everyone?
No. It costs a lot of money to maintain museums. Without enough funding, they wouldn't be able to buy new artworks and hire their employees to keep the collection in good condition. As a result, the museums would be less attractive and interested.
No.3 Do you think that the education system encourages students to be competitive?
I think so. Many shcools today place too much importance on academic performance. Because students are always under pressure to be better than others, they cannot enjoy school life with their friends.
No.4 Should universities provide elderly people with more opportunities for learning?
I believe so. Today, there are more and more people who are interested in lifelong learning after their retirement. They believe that it can help them stay active and keep their brain sharp.
